Father Robin Dunhill
Robin Dunhill was the fifth vicar of St Jude's serving from 1963 to 1973.
These portraits of him have just been given to the church by Ed Zanders who lived on the Suburb from 1954 to 1969. His A Suburb Childhood is a personal memoir of those days. The pictures are by his mother, Beth Zanders, who also painted the portrait of the fourth Vicar, Fr Bill Masters (1955 -1962),which is in the north west porch of the church.

Mothering Sunday 2012
Members of our Junior Church gave an illustrated presentation about their mothers . . .
and led the Intercessions.
Posies were presented at the end of the service.
(Re-)visiting the Church were Joan Chester and her family who were all married, baptized or confirmed here. Joan is the daughter of Frank Puffet who was the Clerk of Works for the building of the church a century ago. She recalled the first Vicar, Basil Bourchier, walking down the central aisle during a service giving out sweets to the children!
Joan is also the widow of 'Cheerful' Charlie Chester who lived on the Suburb.
